Sports Team Relationships

Dr. Swindell’s experience in sports medicine has included caring for athletes across the full spectrum of competition—from local high school programs to Division I collegiate athletics, professional sports organizations, and international sporting events.

He has worked with professional teams including the Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Fire FC, and the Chicago Steel, while also providing medical coverage for collegiate programs such as Columbia University Athletics, Fordham University Athletics, DePaul University Athletics, and Manhattan College Athletics.

In addition to team coverage, Dr. Swindell has provided care for coverage for large scale events such as the McDonald’s High School All-American Basketball Game, Somos Locales International Soccer Tour, and the Tournament of Champions for Professional Squash. Taking care of athletes at all levels has shaped his approach: delivering the same high-level, personalized sports medicine treatment to every patient.
